Madeline Villani, R.P.A.C., L.Ac., is licensed and board certified both as an Acupuncturist and as a Physician Assistant in primary care and surgery. She has over 14 years' experience in medicine, including orthopedics, ER, family medicine, dermatology, and neurosurgery. As a result of the limitations of western medicine, including the potential side effects that medications can have, she was inspired to further her skills and education by obtaining a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is also trained in the MeiZen Cosmetic Acupuncture System, as well as Japanese healing techniques and is able to offer her patients different options in promoting good health and preventing disease. Preventative care is the key to optimum health.
We have great success with acupuncture treatments used for a wide variety of illnesses or imbalances resulting in reduced pain (back pain, migraines, tendonitis, post-surgical pain, arthritis, chronic swelling, to name a few) as well as infertility, anxiety, improved energy and digestion, greater sense of well-being, and restful sleep. In addition, acupuncture is very successful for promoting smoking cessation and weight loss, as well as stabilizing and improving allergies and asthma.
